AWLS Facilitates High-Level Ghana Security Delegation to the United Kingdom

AWLS Ghana Limited successfully facilitated and led a high-level security delegation from Ghana to the United Kingdom this week as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen international security cooperation and expose Ghanaian institutions to advanced global security technologies.

The delegation comprised senior representatives from key national security institutions, including the Ghana Police Service, the Bank of Ghana, and the National Security Secretariat. The visit formed part of AWLS’s strategic programme to promote knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and collaboration between Ghana’s security agencies and international partners.

The programme commenced on Tuesday in London, where the delegation visited the Houses of Parliament. During the visit, the delegation received a guided tour of the historic parliamentary complex and held a meeting with Oliver Ryan, Member of Parliament. Discussions focused on strengthening international cooperation in security, governance, and institutional collaboration.

On Wednesday, the delegation travelled to Banbury, Oxfordshire, where they visited the headquarters of Westminster Group plc, AWLS’s strategic international partner. During the visit, delegates were introduced to a range of advanced security technologies through live demonstrations conducted by Westminster’s network of specialised security technology providers.

The programme also included interactions with members of the United Kingdom policing community, providing an opportunity for professional dialogue and the sharing of operational experiences and best practices in modern security management.

As the official representative and strategic partner of Westminster Group in Ghana, AWLS Ghana Limited played a central role in organizing and coordinating the visit, including the selection and facilitation of participating institutions.

Speaking on the initiative, Fridaus Mubarak Yussif, CEO of AWLS Ghana Limited, emphasized the importance of building international partnerships that strengthen Ghana’s security architecture through knowledge exchange, technology exposure, and institutional cooperation.

AWLS Ghana Limited remains committed to supporting Ghana’s security institutions by connecting them with world-class security expertise, innovative technologies, and international partners capable of enhancing national security capabilities.
